How can we improve Plumbago?

Multiple machines create duplicate notebooks

Viewing a portion of notebook A on one machine and working on notebook B on a second machine (tablet) creates a duplicate of notebook B on first machine which is then duplicated to tablet by OneDrive. Can we fix this?

You should not get duplicate notebooks if they have not been viewed / modified on the various machines before sync. However, if you have notebook A on Machine 1 and you modify it (but don't sync). Then on Machine 2, you view / modify notebook A and sync, then you will see duplicates when you sync on Machine 1. This comes down to several combinations on how to handle notebooks being modified from two different clients. It was not technically practical to "merge" them so we made sure to create a duplicate (with machine name appended on the notebook name) so you could have the changes from both machines.

My guess is that you probably modified notebook A at some point on each machine before syncing, so when you did the sync after notebook B change, the notebook A change was also syncd up.

    Make sense?

    Thanks
    Plumbago Team
