Build has passed cert (yay!), but is still in the 'publishing' phase - getting closer!
Build submitted to the store, just have to wait for their cert & publishing pipeline to finish! Hopefully, we'll get the automated queue that only takes a few hours.
Nope was trying to get locale to configure analytics for app center. One API I used would sometimes flag them as neutral, but the other API I was using doesn't accept neutral locales. I've validated another API works properly and is more direct. And for good measure I've wrapped it in a try/catch.
There's another fix I want to look at, but not sure if I'll have a good long-term solution for that soon, so I'm thinking I'll push this fix sometime tomorrow. I'll update here again once it's been ingested into the store and close the issue!

same here. Windows Store app says my device can run the app, but it crashed.
Even after restart and reinstall it still crashes after the splash screen. There is no way to launch the app.
Thanks Anonymous, I'd have to see if it's the same issue, but think we've diagnosed the problem of what's wrong. I just need to setup a repro to dig deeper, but definitely something related to language settings.
I have one pc running 1809, here it works, but both of my other pc's running 1803 it crashes.
According to the analytics, this is only happening in certain locations. I need to investigate if I can repro this issue today and understand what's going on because I'm definitely seeing some variety of locales working.
Thanks Peter, Unfortunately, I'm noticing a lot of failures in startup occurring in my store analytics. So it doesn't seem isolated, though I never saw this on anyone who had tested internally, but it seems to be happening in the platform initialization code outside my app somewhere. I'll see if I can find the right folks to talk to about helping me understand what might be happening here.
It doesn't seem to be version specific, so I'm wondering if there's some other common factor hardware wise, but that might be hard to determine.

I have reported it on the feedback hub now.
I installed xaml studio half an hour ago, tried opening it twice without success. I can however only find one entry in the eventlog.
Thanks for the report Peter, can you use Feedback Hub to reproduce the issue and file it under Apps -> Xaml Studio? Was this the very first run or has it opened once before?
