Something is not right here, that is for sure.
Even after you uninstalled and reinstalled, you were not able to see your new notebooks? It seems like the install got you in a bad state. It is almost like you have a part of the install there even if you uninstall.
Try uninstalling and rebooting your machine. This will free up any locked files. Then when you reinstall, it should give you the current files. At that point, you should be able to turn on One Drive and sync up to your files.
Thanks

That is frustrating for your daughter ... no fun at all.
One thing to try ... turn off One Drive so it is NOT syncing. Then turn it on so it syncs up.
Have you tried it on a different computer and have it sync to that computer? That would show the One Drive content is good.
Thanks

Are you getting an error of some sort? Is it showing up in the list of documents?
Thanks

The saving to PDF is more of a "export" functionality. It is the case when you are done and want to put it in a format to be viewed outside of Plumbago. The main save is local or to OneDrive which is incremental, quick and automatic.

Was all of this on the same machine or was one on one machine then opened on a different machine?

As you said in your follow up ... the lasso copy / cut / paste is the way to do it between notebooks.

The plumbago file type is specific to the app and really can't be made sense of in another app.

Good ideas. We actually were looking at minimizing the radial dial by clicking in the center but it affected the dragging of it. I will put this feedback back on the list for future releases.
Thanks

Another possible thing could have happened. When you got the update, your OneDrive setting could be turned off. Go to either the Sync button or the "Gear" button and click on "OneDrive Setting". In there, set the "Enable Plumbago notebook sync". That will sync up to your OneDrive and any notebooks on there will be pulled down.
Thanks

Can you give a bit more info on this? When you say they don't show up are you talking that your notebooks aren't listed any more? Did this just start happening?
Thanks

A bit of a mistake ... for the Save To file feature, it is always putting the image over the writing. We'll get that fixed ...
Thanks

I see what you are seeing on this one. The "save to file" is not representing the view you see in the app. It is representing the order at which you add the elements to the page. If you put the image down first and then wrote on it, then the PNG / PDF would show that. Either way, the UI and Save to File should be the same. The bug is filed and should be in the next quality update release which is very soon.
Thanks

Palm rejection is handled at the hardware level. The device that you are using is what handles the palm rejection aspect and Plumbago does not dictate that.

We looked into this more and when we ported Plumbago to Universal Windows, we ran into this limitation. Unfortunately, Universal Windows does NOT allow files in other places other than LocalState or Documents and Settings.
I think for your issue here, OneDrive with a common username would be the way to go. That would also allow syncing and things you wouldn't get with DropBox.

Smart idea on how to use Plumbago. :)
Our recommended sharing method is OneDrive which gives a straight pipeline / syncing process. However, I was curious on how the DB implementation would work so I tried to set it up and see what is happening. Here is how it looks like you are doing this ... I am guessing you create a notebook then go to this file location to upload the file to drop box:
C:\Users\**username**\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.PlumbagoaMicrosoftGarageProject_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalStateThen you open it in drop box and Plumbago opens but you don't see that specific notebook in Plumbago. I tried it and I see the same thing that you do. That notebook is not opening. That is a bug that will be addressed in the next quality update release (which isn't far off).
One caveat though with that route - you open and save it there and you have to use it there. If you are offline, then you won't have access to DB and won't be able to save. If you want to use a method that allows offline editing and then syncing, I would recommend setting up a OneDrive share that will allow you to do this.
Good luck,

Thanks for the great feedback. Glad you like it. The Plumbago team works with OneNote and Windows team in a way to get our work into their products. Sometimes it takes more time as their ship cycle is at different stages. Hopefully we can get the calligraphy pen in there too.
Thanks
